I'm using the bsnes balanced core, but also tried it with the standard snes9x core, just to see. If I remove the -subsystem sgb, Retroarch boots to a black screen. However, trying to launch it (or any GB game) with the Super Game Boy, nothing at all happens. Used mGBA in retroarch, all default settings except Integer. Its about as basic as you could expect from a bezel. So I repurposed a wallpaper I found on google images. It might be pixel perfect or w/e I dunno and Im just a scrub, but I wasnt a fan. If it is exclusive to those, is there a way for me to play my other gameboy games in a similar style? I'm interested in playing the Mega Man game boy games but I can't seem to get it to work well on the retroarch emulator. Wasnt a fan of how small a screen all the gba bezels/overlays seemed to want me to have. So I heard there is a new MGBA based Super Gameboy core for SNES Classic, do I need to patch games for that emulator or find specific versions of games for that emulator? Those borders look very fancy so I'm interested in getting that wherever I can, or at least a black screen.Īlso, do I need any of this USB-host stuff or am I good with just Hakchi? I'm using a bit of an older version I think, does this matter?
